Elpida (Ελπίδα) is the Greek word for “hope.”

Biblical Counseling is grounded in the conviction that God’s Word is sufficient to address the struggles of life and to bring about genuine, lasting change. It is a Christ centered, Scripture sufficient, and Spirit depended ministry that lovingly comes alongside individuals to help them grow in faith and obedience as they apply God’s truth through the power of the Holy Spirit and the hope of the Gospel.

Biblical counseling addresses the issues of the heart—thoughts, desires, emotions, and behaviors—by faithfully applying God’s Word to the real struggles of life.
